Catherine Porter's article in The Star today is an inspiration to us all

Sure it has a bit about CSI in it and of course, I am delighted, but I totally understood Catherine's comments about kicking herself for not being at those crazy events and moments in the city. An inspirational article and a reminder of why we do what we do, Catherine confirms that happiness starts in place and in relationship to one another. Real magic happens when we find ways to connect and create together. Breakthroughs happen when we learn the value of others (like our neighbours) who think differently than we do. Energy is sparked when we create moments together.

Yesterday I was reading this article when the author referenced a 72 year old wise woman who said that 'success is measured by the number of happy memories you have' and when my husband and I spent a few moments talking about it, almost all of our happy memories were about people, dinner parties, street parties, hula hoops and hugs.  Every good revolution starts in the kitchen, cause that is where the food is... and where food is, there are people coming together, hopefully to make the world just a little bit better.

Wow! You are so right about

Wow! You are so right about Catherine Porter. Her writing is so super wonderful and full of special magic and flowers. She plays the strings of my heart like that banjo boy in that flick Deliverance. I especially enjoy her crazy banter and drunken wit. I expect that long after she has left our blessed earth, I will continue to be haunted by her mystic and shameless antidotes for which there is none.

love and huggsies,

Jennifer
