Choose from over 400 Jane's Walks (120 in Toronto alone) and learn more about citizens re-engaging in their neighbourhoods

This year you can choose from 414 neighbourhood walks in 68 cities (29 in Canada, 32 in the U.S, 7 internationally). New Jane’s Walk partnerships this year include Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, Seattle, Chattanooga, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Sault Ste Marie, Kamloops, Victoria, and Jane’s Walk is also expanding internationally with walks scheduled in La Paloma Uruguay, Goa & Mumbai India, Dublin Ireland, Lusaka Zambia and Madrid Spain.... not to mention Toronto!!!

Alidad Mafineza (CSI member) writes about Jane's Walk (also a CSI member) in the Mark News in celebration and preparation for this weekends fantastic slew of neighbourhood walks. He talks about why Jane's Walk is an amazing example of social innovation in action. And we here at CSI are damned proud of the social innovators who brought this project to life from a little idea that got started right here at the Centre for Social Innovation in Toronto four years ago... amazing how great ideas can achieve great scale.
