Offering communications services
The job looks exciting and CSI has a very relevant and important mandate. It's a great place in practice too! Though currently based in Montreal, I have lived in Toronto and worked for non profit organizations there, and elsewhere. I was at CSI last week visiting the Sustainability Network. I would love to provide writing, editing, research and other communication services to CSI. I am flexible, reliable and moreover very affordable! Please visit my website for detailed information on skills, experience, work samples and testimonials. I am available to answer any questions.
All the best finding the right person for the job.
Sincerely,
Veena Gokhale

Inviting the World!!
I would love the opportunity to help tell the CSI story to the world.
Recently, I have been lucky enough to work on the Board of Directors of St. Jude Community Homes, where our CEO, Angela Shaw, is very keen on the idea of people from marginalized communities 'Telling their Stories.' I also write for and edit the St. Jude's monthly newsletter, Hey Jude, as part of the story telling process.
Previously, I developed marketing strategies and strategic management ideas for Access Consulting, helping clients like Kraft Canada and Parmalat to develop online strategies to reduce their costs and risks of marketing. This was done when I helped clients focus on using the Internet in order to address their customer demands on a one-by-one basis, instead of the traditional mass-market scatter-gun approach of segmenting the market and differentiating the products/services.
As Business Analyst for The Centre for Exploitation of Science and Technology (CEST), I lead a trade mission to the US for the UK Department of Trade and Industry, Rover Cars and BAE Aerospace. We published our findings in collaboration with the IEEE.
I hold an MBA from Warwick Business School and also am a regular attendee, and one-time presenter, at Toronto Talks, a business-building network to help IT and associated managers in their network marketing chores. I enjoy writing, especially travel writing, and am passionate about leading a communications and advocacy team.
Please give me an opportunity to show my passion and ability to become CSI's new Marketing and Communication Lead. I await your contact.
Thank You
Yours sincerely,
Simon Proops
Committed, compassionate, creative communicator
I read you job advertisement with great interest. As a communicator and marketing specialist with many years of experience including assignments for the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship, the Ontario Public Service Diversity Office, the Ontario Women's Directorate and other social change organizations, I have the commitment, passion, creativity and knowledge of social issues CSI is seeking. However, I run my own communications consultancy and have a number of other clients that I do not want to abandon to take on a full-time position. That being the case, I would be most interested in assisting the CSI as a communications consultant on an as-needed basis. I offer exceptional strategic planning and writing skills as well as solid knowledge of social issues.
I can be reached at the above-referenced e-mail address or by telephone at 416-261-2974.
Respectfully, Anne Boody Horwood
