Open Salad builds momentum

As many of you will know if you have had the opportunity to hang with us at the Centre for Social Innovation, something magical happens on Tuesday and Thursdays... we have Salad Club.... also called Open Salad, this is where tenants come together and co-create a marvelous salad bar to share with each other.

CSI tenant Eric Squair, Make Poverty History, brought this idea to us and it has taken hold and has gone global. Here are some links to other people's take on our fabulous Salad Club.

Mark Surman's thoughts...

We have also hear rumours that the Ministry of Citizenship has started Salad Club and our friends at The Hub in the UK have also introduced their own version - Sexy Salad.

We love hearing how open salad is going in your community... community building in action.

Cheers,

Tonya

Open Salad Rocks

But let me tell you, way harder to get it going with 20 people than with 100 residents! But I am not giving up. This week I enticed folks with hard cider! ;)
