Released - Renovating the House that Law Built!

The second Ontario/ Quebec Comparative Policy Community Research Report by Peter Elson of Mount Royal University in collaboration with the Ontario Nonprofit Network is now available. Entitled, Renovating the House that Law Built ,  it analyzes proposed changes to nonprofit governance legislation in the two provinces. An additional feature of the report is a profile of registered charitable status and social enterprise activities in Canada.   Charities and the Unrelated Business Burden  was prepared by Whitney Manfro and Francois Brouard.  This report, as well as the first research report in this series, Building Capital, Building Community: A Comparative Analysis of Access to Capital for Social Enterprises and Nonprofits in Ontario and Quebec   are available at: http://sec.oise.utoronto.ca/english/project_pages/project_33.php
