It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us for Digifest, The three-day event, held at Corus Entertainment’s state-of-the-art media and broadcast headquarters, provides a showcase for some of the brightest minds, latest products and newest trends that are shaping the media today – from Canada and around the world. On October 18th and 19th we are facilitating a variety of presentations, where industry and academic thought leaders will deliver lectures, lead discussions, and give demonstrations on the future of digital in their field. This year we are looking forward to talks by Claire Boonstra (co-founder, LAYAR , Netherlands) Morihiro Harano (PARTY, Japan), and Lotte Meijer(Amersterdam).
Each evening of Digifest will conclude with an intimate and thought-provoking talk from digital leaders in the industry as a part of the very exciting Meet the Media Guru (MtMG) presentations. MtMG is a social network that organizes local events in Italy to meet innovators from around the globe. We have brought MtMG to back to Toronto once more as a key component of the Digifest schedule. This year’s media gurus are Luc Courchesne (Digital artist - Society for Art & Technology), AIEP: Ariella Vidach & Claudio Prati (interactive dance -Italy), and Carlo Ratti (Director, Sensable City Laboratory MIT).
