[enp-to] Social Enterprise Funding Opportunity (October 31st deadline) - Register for an Orientation Session!

Is your non-profit organization thinking about

starting or expanding a social enterprise?

Enterprising Non-Profits Toronto (enp-TO) may be for you!

We provide matching technical assistance grants of up to $10,000 for planning activities to help

non-profit organizations start and grow social enterprises. To apply, you must attend an orientation.

Youth-led, youth-driven and/or youth-centred non-profit organizations are especially encouraged to participate, as some of the funds in this Round are from the Capital One Youth Entrepreneurship Fund and are dedicated to social enterprises managed by or serving youth.

Sessions will be held for organizations starting new social enterprises:

Wednesday, September 26th, 9:30 to 4:30 - $100

Tuesday, October 2nd, 9:30 to 4:30 - $100

At which attendees will work together to explore how social enterprise can meet their needs: by conducting an organizational readiness assessment, reviewing business ideas and developing a mock business plan.

Or, for organizations expanding mature social enterprises:

Wednesday, October 3rd, 9:30 – 1 - $50

Designed as a networking and shared learning session.

Check your eligibility for this session by emailing Alexis Kane Speer at akanespeer@uwgt.org

Centre for Social Innovation - Annex, 720 Bathurst Street, Meeting Room #1 (2nd Floor)

Register today at: http://enptoronto.eventbrite.com/

All orientations will review the enp-to application process and all attendees will receive a copy of the Canadian Social Enterprise Guide. The person who attends must be the staff person responsible for the social enterprise.

Reduced pricing available if more than one member of your organization will be attending a session (max. 2 attendees).
