Gardening/landscaping with a local focus

Hi everyone,
My name is Daniel, and I am one of the lucky few that get to serve as a Community Animator at the CSI-Annex. I've learned so much about the interesting projects some of you are working on, and now I would like return the favour.

Back in Montreal, I worked for three years with two different landscaping companies. Working under these master gardeners, I learned a great deal about technique, plant varieties, water feature maintenance and how to sculpt a garden so that it looks effortless year round. Now that I am working for myself here, I am able to combine what they taught me with a more holistic and sustainable philosophy.

Xeriscaping is the practice of designing gardens that require minimal watering and minimal care. One of the key components is the use of plants that are native to a given bioregion. This appeals to me for a number of reasons, not least of which is that these types of gardens make for very unique showpieces.

So, I would like to offer my services to the greater CSI community. In addition to garden design, I offer regular maintenance and special occasion set-up. Please check out my brand new website for a better idea of what I can offer, and thanks for your time.
