Join the tens of thousands of Ontarians who think that the proposed 2,300 acre mega-quarry 100 km northwest of Toronto is just another bad idea from a rapacious hedge fund. Come to Soupstock on Sunday, October 21 at Woodbine Park, where more than 200 chefs will serve up soup from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There's also a show with the soup: CBC's Strombo will introduce a musical lineup that includes Jesse Cook, Jim Cuddy. Snowblink, and The Paint Movement. Admission is free. Soup tickets are $10 for three bowls.
