A vital component of Fundraising, often overlooked!
Hello Fellow CSIers,
Here's an interesting quote I came across while reading an article:
"Fundraising appeals tend to focus on the importance and urgency of the cause, rather than on the enthusiasms and idiosyncrasies of donors."
Sounds familiar to Small Change Fund, as we are currently in the process of organizing our next hit event, our annual board and advisor meeting, and exploring themes to increase our donations. I am sure a lot of other small charities out there, often miss out on the fact that their charity is about the donors feel-good factor first, then about the cause, and lastly their personal experience with the cause they are lending support to.
