Alex Heath, BA, MES (Planning - Candidate), specializes in the design and implementation of engagement processes that facilitate stable and defensible outcomes. Through both academic and practical experience, he has been involved in a number of complex, public and multi-stakeholder consultation and engagement projects. These projects have dealt with a broad range of topics including urban design, urban planning, environmental planning and strategic planning. Through work on these projects, Alex has gained the insight that linking stakeholders to decision makers facilitates not only stable decisions, but also produces a two-way learning process that benefits both stakeholders and decision-makers. Alex’s expertise includes: Collaborative planning; public and stakeholder consultation; civic engagement; public participation; facilitation; planning policy analysis; and stakeholder mapping.
