The Centre for Applied Neuroscience is a centre for coaching, education, ideas, inspiration, and community. It is built on a foundation of knowledge and wisdom from the sciences like neuroscience and psychology and wisdom from ancient traditions of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness that Mandy Wintink (Director) has gained through my formal education and life’s education. The practical work of the centre includes coaching and education for personal and professional development from the perspectives of science and wisdom. This happens through a variety of media including 1) one-on-one coaching and education, 2) group-based learning lectures, workshops, courses, and conferences, and 3) writing. The centre is a virtual hub for the over 25 coaches who have been trained under the centre’s Neuropsychoidiology Life Coaching Certification program, more than 60 neuroscientists, and the many like-minded people from the community who are interested in personal and professional development with a brain-yoga twist.

Why I do what I do:

I called this a centre because it is a place where ideas comes together. At the centre of all of these ideas is me. The branches of the centre represent my interests, my passions, my work, my community, and me. By following my passion, I have also created a centre where people come together to work on their own ideas in pursuit of happiness for themselves and for others.
