Beth Moutrey is a painter, writer and therapist. In 1996, Beth commensed studies in Art Psychotherapy in the United Kingdom. She completed her post graduate training at the University of Western Ontario in 2000, specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Beth's work is informed by the study and practice of Mindfulness, and encompasses her combined areas of expertise. Her clinical experience ranges from trauma and crisis intervention to ongoing sessions with individuals and groups. Her current clinical work involves online consulting, where counselling matters are explored and attended to with clients, through a series of written exchanges.
Beth shows and sells her art in community spaces throughout Toronto. This includes Modern Art for Children, a series of original paintings dedicated to and created for children and parents. Her experience is international in scope and her work reflects her commitment to the health and wellness of children of all ages.
