Hi to all! I'm very pleased to be joining the CSI community, after over tens years of work in health promotion and community development, with a focus on youth engagement using creative, arts-based approches. I am currently working with the Campaign to Control Cancer, managing a two-year Trillium funded initiative Engaging Emerging Leaders in Cancer Control, and with a number of youth arts agencies, including Sketch and the Arts Network for Children and Youth, on articulating Core Competencies for Youth Engagement through the Arts. After several months of consulting from my home, flanked by my (very lovely) cats, I'm excited to be joining a buzzing environnent full of creative energy and lots of givers and doers. Not that my cats aren't givers or doers, but they don't have a lot to say about community-capacity building. After work (and sometimes during ;) I enjoy travelling on a shoestring, dancing with abandon and singing into my hairbrush.
