Accessibility Ontario

Accessibility Ontario’s CEO and lead facilitator is Constance Exley.  In a partnership between the Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN) and the Ministry of Community and Social Service, Constance designed, coordinated and delivered the EnAbling Nonprofits Ontario (ENO) project. A two-year provincial education and outreach initiative, ENO helped nonprofits to understand and comply with their obligations under the Accessible Customer Service Standard of the AODA.

Accessibility Ontario (www.accessontario.com) is a training and development organization that helps nonprofits and businesses in Ontario to understand and comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (2005). We have helped thousands of organizations successfully incorporate the upcoming standard requirements into their organizations.

The AODA affects all businesses, nonprofits and all levels of government in Ontario. With the goal of breakdown barriers for people with disabilities, the AODA mandates that all organizations meet various standards relating to customer service, employment, information and communications, the built environment, and transportation.

Accessibility Ontario offers a comprehensive range of services to support organizations to meet their AODA compliance requirements.
