Ezra Houser worked as a dancer, poet, and arts educator for eight years.

For five of those years, he was also the managing director of a non-profit multimedia performance ensemble.

He remains a professional freelance stilt-dancer.

His research interests broadly include the possibilities and problems posed by creative work in the arts, and he is currently completing a Master's Degree at OISE/U of T focusing on the role of creativity in health and wellness for our aging population.
