Kimberly Bagayawa is a media producer who has worked in production for the last 10 years. She mentored under Gemini-nominated producer Tina Hahn, and since then, has managed to keep her company among the brightest change agents in the city. Under her company, The Firehouse, she curated and co-produced 16 short films for Artscape’s Creative Places+Spaces Conference and their “Campaign of Ideas”. The core of Kim’s ventures has always been the drive to create thought-provoking work, to collaborate with wildly talented people, and above all, to do good. Currently, she is co-producing a 10-part documentary series called the Tao of Discovery, commissioned by MaRS Discovery District in Toronto. The series features 10 of Ontario’s award-winning scientists and their ‘eureka!’ moments of discovery.
