Laura Reinsborough is the Founder and Director of Not Far From The Tree, Toronto's very own fruit picking project. She has been featured as a GreenHero on GreenHeroes TV, named a "local food visionary" by the Toronto Star, given a national Women of the Earth award, and featured as one of 18 Torontonians profiled in David Miller's book Witness to a City. With a Master's degree in Community Arts through Environmental Studies (York University), she is compelled by the possibilities of arts and creativity to engage with environmental issues.
