Mike is currently working on a collaborative project intended to help organizations adopt post-management workplace strategies and democratic work practices. He is also involved in the early stages of a start-up equity research company focused on sustainability factors.

His past work has included risk management, asset valuation, operations research, geostatistical modelling, teaching math, dance performance, entertainment promotion, writing, public outreach and media relations. He is a chronic volunteer and a member of the advisory board for The Treehouse Group. Mike holds a B.Math degree in Pure Mathematics and an M.Math degree in Statistics-Finance, both from the University of Waterloo.
