Shona Fulcher

Shona Fulcher

Centre for Social Innovation

Shona has long had a softspot for the reluctant hero, and ever identifies with those fictional characters who, when faced with a wrong they can right, quietly mutter under their breath, shake their head, then pull up their socks and weigh in and change the world. This early fascination led her to an degree in Peace & Conflict studies and an early career in the social services sector with the Ontario Child Welfare Training system. After a brief detour through the world of private sector finance, Shona's love of the power of positive change led her back to the Social Mission sector where she was lucky enough to become part of The Centre for Social Innovation's inaugural Agents of Change Internship Program. A crash course in creativity, community, innovation and the amazingly abundant diversity that is Toronto. Now Shona excitedly returns to the real business of changing the world here at CSI & has high hopes to become here very own reluctant hero someday.

Why I do what I do:

Because its fun, exciting and challenging. And Because CSI rules!
