The Concerned Kids Charity of Toronto

Since 1989, The Concerned Kids has been dedicated to social education through the medium of interactive puppetry.We have reached 300,000 students to date in communities in and around Toronto. The Concerned Kids' mandate is to provide a forum to present and promote discussion on social issues affecting children and youth by presenting educational puppet shows and engaging young people to make safe, healthy choices at a young age that will help them throughout their lives. Our programs and puppets have been professionally developed by specialists. Our shows are delivered by volunteer puppeteers who have undergone an extensive training program. We also offer classroom activities and follow-up materials to reinforce the knowledge and skills students gain from our presentations. We currently perform 4 programs:'Bullies & School Safety', Multiculturalism:Celebrating Diversity', .Violence, Gangs & Prejudice', and Substance Abuse & Peer Pressure'.
