We are an advocacy group that fights for Canadian taxpayers to ensure justice in the tax system and to hold the Canada Revenue Agency accountable for their actions. Our tax system in Canada affects every individual and business in the country and yet it is so complicated that it remains a mystery to most people. We believe every individual should be able to understand the rules that govern them and to know their rights and obligations in this key part of our society. To this end, we provide free and easy to understand tax information for all taxpayers through our Tax Wiki and our Seminars and Workshops and can assist taxpayers to find cost effective help to resolve problems with the Canada Revenue Agency when necessary. We also work to uphold the Taxpayer Bill of Rights by becoming involved in certain cases where taxpayers have been treated unfairly. We want to help all taxpayers have a voice in helping to shape a fairer tax system for everyone that we can all understand and respect.
