Not Far From The Tree's 2nd Annual City Cider Event

Not Far From The Tree's 2nd annual City Cider event is on Sunday, September 16th, 12pm to 4pm at the Spadina Museum (285 Spadina Road).

Enjoy an afternoon filled with freshly-pressed cider (made before your eyes!), a great line-up of  musicians, heritage apple tasting, orchard tours, hands-on activities, workshops and more!

Race across the field in potato sacks (burlap sacks donated by Merchants of Green Coffee), practice yoga with Caitlin Fear, or ask our 'honey bee expert'  Bruce Harpur about bee biology.

Keep your eyes peeled for a Ben the Scarecrow from Stilters, and a dazzling contemporary dance troupe.

Joining us on stage this year are Ventanas, Caroline Brooks of the Good Lovelies, Maria Bonita and the Band, Beams, Orchards, and Chris Lowry!

A special Hard Cider Smackdown this year will include samples and servings from Pommies Dry and Exquisitaste. Local eats provided by Urban Smoke and Pretty Sweet Cakes. 

$5 admission (12 and under are free). Admission includes museum entrance.
