Join us for a multimedia presentation by Jeff Perera of the White Ribbon Campaign and Higher Unlearning.

Jeff will explore the ways we create and enforce gender roles for men and women, pressures on men to live out limiting ideas of masculinity, and the effect of those limits on perpetuating violence against women.

Together we'll explore what we can do to be a part of a positive change for all genders.

**Jeff Perera is a Community and Youth Engagement Manager for the White Ribbon Campaign, the world’s largest effort to engage men and boys in re-imaging masculinity and helping end violence against women. He is the director of the annual discussion-focused ‘What Makes a Man’ White Ribbon Conference and was event director for the first TEDxWomen event in Toronto. In 2010 Jeff delivered the TEDx talk ‘Words Speak Louder Than Actions’ discussing the impact we all make as well as the impact words have on our everyday lives.**
