How much is it to get a phone or line @ CSI?

Phones are $50/month and include both the handset, line and voicemail. You can bring an existing number in-house or we can assign you a new number.

Is it possible to get only a voicemail @ CSI?

Yes. For just voicemail (no headset) there is a one-time fee of $50 and then a monthly fee of $15/month.

How do I check messages remotely on my CSI phone?

Call your number. When you hear your recorded voice (voicemail), press ** (star star). You will be prompted for your four-digit Mailbox Number (internal extension number). Enter the number. You will then be prompted for your password. Enter that and you will be "inside" the system.

Can I get my voicemail messages sent to me by email?

Yes! Just tell Getnet the email address to which you want your voicemail messages sent, and we'll program it to automatically forward your voicemails as .wav files to your email address.

How do I add or delete users from my Auto-Attendant?

CSI Staff need to do this on your behalf. Just send clear instructions to Getnet. There is a $50 fee for any adds, changes or deletions.

How do I dial Long-distance?

When you call a long distance number, you will hear a tone at the end of dialing. Enter your four-digit LD code to complete the call. Your four-digit code is assigned to you by one of the Community Animators, and is likely the same code as your security and photocopier codes.

What are the Long-distance rates for phones @ CSI?

Long-distance rates are $0.03/minute in North America. For a listing of international rates, click here (Word doc). 

Where can I go if I need to use a phone for a private or a long call?

There are two phone booths located at the very back of the workspace in Suite 400 for the purpose of allowing tenants to make private calls, long calls, or conference calls. They are used on a first come, first serve basis and thus are not "bookable"

I work at a Hot Desk; which phones can I use?

There are phones located in the workspace. There are also 2 phone booths in the back.

Please also note that one of the phone booths (the one with the couch) is also used as our official nap room by some of the tenants.I work at a Hot Desk; which phones can I use?

How do I make a call?

Remember to always press 9 to get out of the system before putting in the phone number. For long distance calls, dial 9 to get a line, dial the number as usual, then enter your 4 digit LD code once you can hear the tone. Local calls do not require the 4 digit code.

How do I set up call forwarding?

Call your voicemail and then follow the prompts on the phone (there will be a choice for user options).

How do I buzz someone in through the front door after-hours?

There are instructions on each reception phone on their respective floors.

Suite 120 Reception Phone

Press 9 before the number to dial; to buzz someone through the front doors of the building, have them dial 5467 on the keypad outside the main doors. Or they can call this phone @ 416.642.5467. When this phone rings, press 6 to buzz them in.

Suite 400 Reception Phone

Press 9 before the number to dial; to buzz someone through the front doors of the building, have them dial 5794 on the keypad outside the main doors. Or they can call this phone @ 416.642.5794. When this phone rings, press 6 to buzz them in.

How do I access my voicemail?

From within the office:
1. Dial 8* (eight star) on your phone
2. Enter your passcode
3. Follow the prompts

From outside the office:
1. Dial your office number - the auto attendant will answer if you have multiple extensions.
2. Enter the extension that you are in the directory (1, 2, 3 etc)
3. You have to wait until you reach your voicemail & then press ** (star star)
4. Enter your extension number
5. Enter your passcode
