2012 Youth Agents of Change Program
The Youth Agents of Change Program is an initiative of the Centre for Social Innovation to provide space and support to young people aged 19-29 with a promising social venture.
THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS TO THE 2012/13 YOUTH AGENTS OF CHANGE PROGRAM HAS NOW PASSED. THANKS TO ALL WHO APPLIED!
We will be in touch with all applicants in the coming weeks.
We’re looking for a diverse mix of people and projects to support through the 2012/3 program. The 20 Youth Agents of Change selected for the program will receive:
- 60 hours of free monthly desk space and three hours of free monthly meeting space at the Centre for Social Innovation Annex (720 Bathurst Street at Bloor)
- Tailored programming and mentorship to accelerate your social venture
- Connections to experts, professionals and resources across the social mission sector
- Participation in Toronto’s most dynamic community of change agents
Who should apply?
Young people aged 19-29 years old who reside in the Greater Toronto Area are eligible to apply. You must have a social venture of some kind, at any stage of development from conception to delivery - but you must be committed to advancing the project through the year. It doesn’t matter to us if it’s for-profit, nonprofit or still uncertain - we just want to know that your project will make a positive difference in our city and our world.
What is the selection process?
Applications are due by May 4, 2012. A team of CSI and outside experts will work alongside former Agents of Change to select the winners among the applicants. We may ask you to come in for a brief presentation on May 24 so plan to spend some time with us on that day. We’ll confirm as soon as possible.
When it comes to the selection process, we’re looking for variety, creativity, passion and potential!
