In tough economic times, cutbacks and trimming of expenses is often a way of life for many organizations . Regrettably a large number make the mistake of reducing expenses in the wrong areas such as marketing and advertising without a solid understanding of the true impacts beyond cashflow. The truth is that in bad times it can be even more important to market and advertise your organization's products, services or missions than it is in good times. That said, it is also critically important to be efficient with the budgets you do have and to make sure the messages you are delivering are clear, consistent and in keeping with a solid strategy. Of particular importance is to possess an understanding of the differences between long term and short term marketing initiatives.
Many small business owners, social enterprises and non-profit organizations are not aware of the differences between long and short term marketing strategies. They are not aware of how to differentiate or apply them, and when dealing with limited marketing budgets it is critical to understand how to create an effective strategy that offers success both now and into the future. Please join noted broadcaster, author, speaker and media consultant Eric Novak, President of media consulting firm Modern Media Perspectives as he delivers an interactive, entertaining and valuable presentation on how to help your small-medium size organization become more efficient and successful with its' marketing dollars.
