Welcome to the Centre for Social Innovation

Welcome to CSI! Ours is a DIY culture - what you put in is what you'll get out!  Setting yourself up well so you know what's going on is an important part of getting the most out of being a member here.  Please follow-up on the steps below - and let us know if you have any questions!

1. Join the CSI Community Intranet

The Intranet is the online equivalent of our dynamic real-world community. Here you can create and manage your profiles, post news and events, and discover just what's happening at CSI.  It's also a key way in which others will get to know you!  Take 10 minutes and set up your profile now: Click here for the pdf instructions.

You will have received an email from our Leasing team with the date for the next orientation session in your building.  Ask staff if you can't find it!

3. Record your 4-Digit Security and Photocopy Code

You'll need a 4-digit code to lock and unlock the space and to make photocopies and long distance calls (billed quarterly). The same email with the orientation info. will have your code.  Guard it well!

4. Start printing @ CSI

You are welcome to print directly to our high-speed copiers. To do so, you need to download the driver and insert your 4-digit code (same as copy code above).

CSI Spadina has a shared printer on both the first floor (black and white) and fourth floor (colour). To use the printer, you just need to download the drivers. Download the driver for the first floor printer here: (PC or MAC) and the fourth floor printer here (PC or MAC).

a) Don't wait to create your profile on the intranet!  Keep in mind until you update it, the public will only see what you filled in on your application.

b) Make sure you introduce yourself to the community animators at the front desk-- if they don't know you already, it'll make their day!

c) Schedule a tea date a month from now with the community animator at your building.  We want to hear how things are going, and help make your experience here even better.
