CSI Pop Up Markets

CSI Pop Up Markets are an opportunity for Toronto’s artists, entrepreneurs, and social enterprises to convene and showcase their goods and work for the city to see. From toys that teach empathy to handmade jewelry to upcycled household products, the CSI Pop Up Market is your window into a world of ethical and sustainable products – all while supporting the local scene.

Forego the generic fleece pyjama pants and opt for a t shirt screen-printed with an artist’s whimsical imagination - avoid department store chaos and try a chemical-free body lotion - or go super low-carbon and purchase a CycleTO membership for your cousin!

Along with our incredible partners #GreenPeopleTO, Coffee Pubs, Cycle Toronto, Toronto Tool Library, and Fresh City Farms we’re taking it even further and holding an incredible social in the evening. Our vision is to spread the idea that it’s up to us to make the choices and patterns that inform how ideas, policies, and even governance unfold - we all have the power to shape the future through responsible consumption and mindful living!

The Pop Up Market will open at 2pm, running until 10pm. At 6pm, the CSI Coffee Pub will open their bar and serve up delicious local beers, wines and ciders while we open our doors to a Market Mixer, co-hosted by #GreenPeopleTO’s SUP (Sustainable UnProfessionals) events. Look forward to some live tunes, an Alternative Gift Fair hosted by the Tool Library, a Pop-Up Secret Santa by #GreenPeopleTO, a zine-making station by The Wheelhouse, and mingling with people all working to make the world a better place in many ways.

You can expect to see a diverse range of vendors at each CSI Pop Up Market, many of whom are CSI Members. Vendors are either local artists and artisans or social enterprises working to put people and the planet before profit. This can take on many forms - ethically sourcing materials, repurposing items, producing minimal waste - the list goes on!

Full vendor list coming soon.
