Your Guides:

Tonya Surman is a social entrepreneur, community animator and network choreographer. With a passion for bringing life to world-changing projects, Tonya is the founding executive director of the Centre for Social Innovation – a dynamic convergence space whose mission is to catalyze, connect and support new ideas that are changing the world. Tonya has been working with social mission groups to collaborate, innovate and achieve success for over 15 years.

Annahid Dashtgard is co-founder of Anima Leadership, an internationally renowned consulting and training company specializing in emotional/ social intelligence, diversity and human systems change.  She is also current acting Director of Community Animation at CSI.  Her expertise and passion lies in crafting context-specific, authentic solutions for stronger human systems, the backbone of healthy and productive organizations.  Annahid has worked in and across the public and non-profit sector in Canada for over 15 years.

Eli Malinsky
has been obsessing over networks for the past ten years. He’s published work on network evaluation and on the relationship among technology, culture, and network organizational structures. Eli was previously coordinator of Imagine Canada’s Research program and has spent the past six years cultivating the organic and emergent network that is CSI.
