Program Manager of Education and Engagement

Circular Innovation Council is seeking a Program Manager of education and engagement programming. Working with our education and engagement team, members, and partners, the successful candidate will lead planning, implementation, and stakeholder engagement of programs and initiatives that engage a variety of targeted audiences on the circular economy and its benefits. These programs currently include, but are not limited to Ontario Green Screen and Circular Economy Month.

Program Management and Development:

  • Lead the development of program strategic planning and implementation of those plans.
  • Identify collaborative and funding partners, secure and manage those partnerships.
  • Develop and oversee program/project operational budgets.
  • Develop, track, and analyze success metrics against program/project deliverables.
  • Manage ongoing stakeholder partnerships.
  • Identify and manage any subcontractors retained to support program implementation.
  • Manage program administrative needs.

Communications, Marketing, and Stakeholder Management:

  • Develop and deliver presentations and organize stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage day-to-day communications with program partners, committees, and stakeholders.
  • Co-develop program communication plans with internal and external communications leads, and assist with its deliverables including:
    • social media content plans
    • marketing materials
    • resources
  • Oversee updates and development to program online (websites) and print collateral.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum five years of experience in a role managing similar responsibilities.
  • Post-secondary education in environmental studies or related field.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communications, and presentation skills.
  • Can work independently and is a self-starter.
  • Fundraising experience with a proven track record.
  • Experience using WordPress and graphic design programs (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Bilingualism in French an important asset.

Position Details

  • We are a national organization that operates remotely. We welcome applicants from across Canada.
  • Salary is competitive with experience and includes a benefits package.
  • This position is a full time, 12-month maternity leave coverage contract with opportunity for renewal.
  • Anticipated start: week of October 24, 2022 (or earlier).
