Senior Program Manager - WOSEN
Mitalie grew up in Toronto and completed her BSc and Master of Environmental Science degree at the University of Toronto. Her love for connecting with people and the environment led her to travel and work throughout Canada and India. In 2014, Mitalie’s life path changed when she moved to Montréal and realized there was a lack of organic waste management services. With a desire to solve this, she co-founded a composting company that has made an incredible impact in diverting organic waste from landfills.
In her role as Senior Programs Manager, Mitalie collaborates with the Women of Ontario Social Enterprise Network (WOSEN) and leads the design and delivery of programming for women and gender non-binary entrepreneurs within Central ON. Mitalie is drawn to this work because she has experienced and understands that there’s a huge gap in providing effective support for women and gender non-binary entrepreneurs. CSI seemed like the perfect place to create programs that unleash the entrepreneurial energy and capacity of these underrepresented and underserved entrepreneurs who have solutions that put people and the planet first. Mitalie enjoys and embraces the challenge of creating a responsive programming experience for participants that fosters a strong sense of play, community and representation.
When not at work, you can find Mitalie mastering the art of self care, planning future adventures and enjoying the outdoors with her partner and two dogs.
